VEGAN HOOCHIE CINNAMON ROLLLLSSS

VEGAN HOOCHIE CINNAMON ROLLLLSSS

BABYYYYY we making HOochie Cinnamon Rolls because them dry ass store rolls can stay right where they at 😭

VEGAN HOOCHIES CINNAMON ROLLS

Soft. Gooey. Cinnamon all in the cracks. Icing melting everywhere. Vegan but she absolutely does NOT taste like struggle food.

THE DOUGH

1 cup warm oat milk
2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
1/4 cup cane sugar
2/4 cup melted vegan butter
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt

First hoochie, WARM the milk. Not boiling. We waking the yeast up, not killing the bitch.

Add your sugar and yeast to the warm milk and let her sit about 5 to 10 minutes. When she gets foamy, she alive and ready to work.

Add your melted vegan butter and vanilla.

Then slowly mix in your flour and salt.

Knead that thang for about 7 to 10 minutes until the dough is soft, smooth and just a lil tacky.

Put her in a greased bowl. Cover her up and leave her alone for about an hour until she doubles in size.

NOW THE GOOD SHIT

2 cups softened vegan butter
2 cup coconut sugar
2 tbsp cinnamon
2 tsp vanilla
Tiny pinch of salt

Roll your dough out into a big rectangle.

Slather that vegan butter ALL OVER THAT BITCH. Edge to edge. We are not rationing butter in this household.

Mix your brown coconut sugar, cinnamon and salt together and spread that shit everywhere.

Press it down into the butter a little bit.

Then roll her up TIGHT into one long cinnamon log.

Cut into about 9 big fat ass rolls or 12 lil cute ones.

LET THEM GET THICK

Put them in a greased baking dish, cover them and let them rise again for about 30 to 45 minutes.

This second rise is what gets them big, soft and fluffy instead of giving you cinnamon biscuits pretending to be rolls.

And HERE is the hoochie trick:

Pour about 1/4 cup warm oat milk or vegan heavy cream over the rolls right before they go in the oven.

BABY.

That shit sinks down into the layers and keeps the middle soft and gooey.

BAKE THAT ASS

350°F

Bake about 22 to 28 minutes.

You want them lightly golden on top.

DO NOT keep cooking them trying to make them brown brown. That’s how you end up with cinnamon hockey pucks.

HOochie CREAM CHEESE ICING

4 oz vegan cream cheese
2 tbsp vegan butter
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Splash of oat milk

Whip everything together until creamy.

Then put that icing on while the rolls are still warm.

Not screaming hot.

Warm.

So the icing starts melting down into them cinnamon coochie cracks. 😭

NOW IF YOU WANNA ACT A DAMN FOOL…

Add chopped pecans.

Add a little maple syrup.

Add vanilla bean.

Throw pecans, brown sugar and vegan butter at the bottom of the pan before adding your rolls and now you basically got vegan sticky buns.

Or add a lil orange zest to the icing???

OOOOOOH HOochie.
